Nashville at Night
Join us as we explore the creative possibilities that await in the electrifying atmosphere of Nashville at Night. You’ll learn to mix natural and city lights, shutter techniques, lens choices, and much more. Broadway and the downtown Riverfront provide the ideal setting to practice and perfect your twilight photography skills.
WHEN: VARIOUS, evenings
WHERE: John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge (formerly the Shelby Street Bridge), downtown Nashville at Riverfront Park
EQUIPMENT: DSLR camera, a MULTIPLE fully charged batteries, an empty memory card, and something to take notes with. A laptop is optional for Saturday morning if you'd like to to work on edits during the QA.

Landscape Workshop
One session. Overview of equipment, technical, and creative issues, including lens choice, special considerations for outdoor shooting such as inclement weather and low light situations, motion, composition, and basic post-processing.
Workshop will be a combination of editing and field work on-location. Travel to/from location(s) will be required. Wear good walking shoes and outdoor work clothes. Bring snacks as there will not be an opportunity to eat dinner during the workshop. Be prepared for inclement weather.
Prerequisite: Must have an understanding of full manual control and metering to enroll in this workshop.

Natural Light Portrait Workshop (Getting Beautiful Images of the People in Your Life!)
One session. Covers technical and composition issues encountered, posing, and lens choice when dealing with people age 1 to 91. How to have fun, bring out the essence of a person, and get good shots at the same time.
Workshop will be a combination of editing and field work on-location. Wear good walking shoes and outdoor work clothes. Bring snacks as there will not be an opportunity to eat dinner during the workshop.
Prerequisite: Must have an understanding of full manual control and metering to enroll in this workshop.

Off Camera Strobe Lighting Workshop
One session. Hands-on overview of basic studio equipment, technical and creative issues, including lens choice and metering, 1, 2, and 3 light set-ups, and subject composition. Must
have prior working knowledge of shutter, aperture, and ISO.
Prerequisite: Must have an understanding of full manual control to enroll in this workshop.

Street Photography Workshop - Capturing the Essence of City Space
One session. Great for art shots of building interior, exterior and cityscapes, spontaneous moments, technical issues such as low light and convergence, compositional issues, lens and tripod choice, basic post-processing/editing. Travel to/from location(s) will be required. Wear good walking shoes.
